On Tuesday, he left the impression that we need merely end "tax breaks for the wealthiest 2% of Americans," and he promised that households earning less than $250,000 won't see their taxes increased by "one single dime."

This is going to be some trick. Even the most basic inspection of the IRS income tax statistics shows that raising taxes on the salaries, dividends and capital gains of those making more than $250,000 can't possibly raise enough revenue to fund Mr. Obama's new spending ambitions.  READ MORE

Obama & Co. are rushing to "do something" about the economy by pushing a government "stimulus bill" that would spend hundreds of billions of our tax dollars. They're singing the same old "big government is here to help" tune. Yet more government is likely to hurt -- not help -- our economy. A sampling of new expenses in the Senate spending bill includes $1 billion for Amtrak (which hasn't turned a profit in 40 years), $696 million for constructing and outfitting the Department of Homeland Security's headquarters, and $650 million for digital TV conversion coupons. This isn't the "stimulus" that our economy needs. It's more pork and more debt.

Today we celebrate the 10 year anniversary of when  Bill Clinton was impeached on two counts by the House of Representatives.

Today, December 19, was the day when Bill Clinton became the first president ever to be impeached from the presidency and banned from practicing law. He was also the only president to be accused of rape, to settle a sexual molestation charge out of court, to be implicated in a drug smuggling ring, and to have 22 people involved in his court cases commit suicide or get murdered before they could testify.

He was also the man that on five occasions when given the option did not capture or kill Osama Bin Laden. He was responsible for the largest tax hike in American history. and the Clintons are also the only first family that has refused to release their records tot he public.  They were also the first, first family to take gifts and other goods from the white house after leaving.  The official report puts the total they stole from the White House around $300,000.  They were also found to have broken many real estate laws and tax laws in their personal lives.  A great family!

Happy Ten Year Anniversary!  

I'm glad Obama brought a Clinton into is administration.  That is real change in American politics.  That is change we can believe in!

An inquiry here into the impeachment of Gov. Rod R. U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald

Kenneth J. Conner told WND he was interviewed by investigators from Fitzgerald's office regarding the purchase of the Obama mansion and the adjacent vacant lot that Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased simultaneously. As WND reported last week, Connor filed a civil complaint in October with the Illinois Circuit Court in Cook County alleging he was fired by Mutual Bank of Harvey, Ill., because he objected to land appraisals submitted on behalf of the Rezkos and the Obamas, with the complicity of the bank.

Connor previously confirmed to WND that he told the FBI, months ago, when he initially was fired, that the bank and the Rezkos were engaged in "fraud, bribes or kickbacks, use whatever term you want," to benefit the Obamas.

Connor said his lawyer, Glenn R. Gaffney, also has been interviewed by the FBI about the Rezko-Obama deal within the past 10 days.

Connor has disclosed that during the initial investigation he met with two FBI agents for approximately an hour and a half to discuss the Rezko-Obama home purchase.

McCain's op-ed unworthy, but domestic terrorist Bill Ayers' op-ed is: "The Real Bill Ayers" falsely claimed the Weather Underground never attacked people. During the 2008 campaign, John McCain's pro-Iraq War op-ed was judged by the New York Times editorial page as unworthy of publication (even though Barack Obama had penned a pro-withdrawal one for the paper just a week before). But last weekend, one well-known personality from the campaign broke his silence and claimed that precious piece of journalistic real estate: 1960s domestic terrorist and Obama friend Bill Ayers wrote an op-ed for Saturday's edition, "The Real Bill Ayers," setting out his side of the story.

Seeks damages for distribution of humiliating gun accident video

APRIL 11--A Drug Enforcement Administration agent who stars in a popular online video that shows him shooting himself in the foot during a weapons demonstration for Florida children is suing over the tape's release, claiming that his career has been crippled and he's become a laughingstock due to the embarrassing clip's distribution. Lee Paige, 45, blames the video's release on DEA officials in an April 7 federal lawsuit filed against the U.S. government. A copy of the pro se complaint by Paige, a DEA agent since 1990, can be found below. According to the lawsuit, Paige was making a "drug education presentation" in April 2004 to a Florida youth group when his firearm (a Glock .40) accidentally discharged. The shooting occurred moments after Paige told the children that he was the only person in the room professional enough to carry the weapon. The accident was filmed by an audience member, and the tape, Paige claims, was turned over to the DEA. The drug agency subsequently "improperly, illegally, willfully and/or intentionally" allowed the tape to be disseminated. As a result, Paige--pictured above in a still from the video--has been the "target of jokes, derision, ridicule, and disparaging comments" directed at him in restaurants, grocery stores, and airports. Paige, who writes that he was "once regarded as one of the best undercover agents, if not the best, in the DEA," points to the clip's recent airing on popular television shows and via the Internet as the reason he can no longer work undercover. He also notes that he is no longer "permitted or able to give educational motivational speeches and presentations."

Gov. Rod Blagojevich and his chief of staff, John Harris, were arrested today by FBI agents for what U.S. Atty. Patrick Fitzgerald called a "staggering" level of corruption involving pay-to-play politics in Illinois' top office.

Blagojevich is accused of a wide-ranging criminal conspiracy, including alleged attempts by the governor to try to sell or trade the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by President-elect Barack Obama in exchange for financial benefits for the governor and his wife. Blagojevich also is accused of obtaining campaign contributions in exchange for other official actions.

Justices won't give questions about eligibility full hearing

The US Supreme Court today announced it has denied bringing Donofrio v. Wells – one of several cases challenging Barack Obama's eligibility to serve as president – before a full hearing of the Court.

 The case of Leo C. Donofrio v. New Jersey Secretary of State Nina Mitchell Wells claims Obama does not meet the Constitution's Article 2, Section 1 "natural-born citizen" requirement for president because of his dual Citizenship at birth.

Where's the proof Barack Obama was born in the U.S. or that he fulfills the "natural-born American" clause in the Constitution? If you still want to see it, sign WND's petition demanding the release of his birth certificate.

Unlike many of the lawsuits regarding Obama's "natural-born citizen" status, the Donofrio case makes no allegation he was born on foreign soil. Instead, Donofrio contends Obama was a British citizen at birth, because of his father's citizenship in a British colony, Kenya.

"Don't be distracted by the birth certificate and Indonesia issues," Donofrio writes on his Natural Born Citizen blog. "They are irrelevant to Senator Obama's ineligibility to be president. Since Barack Obama's father was a citizen of Kenya and therefore subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of Senator Obama's birth, then Senator Obama was a British citizen 'at birth.'"

Obama's Fight the Smears website confirms that Donofrio is correct about the Democrat's citizenship at birth but says his dual citizenship with Britain expired, leaving him with only American citizenship.

Donfrio, however, contends that the Constitution was written in such a way to exclude dual citizens like Obama.  Article Here

The court did not comment on its order Monday rejecting the call by Leo Donofrio of East Brunswick, N.J., to intervene in the presidential election. Donofrio says that since Obama had dual nationality at birth -- his mother was American and his Kenyan father at the time was a British subject -- he cannot possibly be a "natural born citizen," one of the requirements the Constitution lists for eligibility to be president

At least one other appeal over Obama's citizenship remains at the court. Philip J. Berg of Lafayette Hill, Pa., argues that Obama was born in Kenya, not Hawaii as Obama says and the Hawaii secretary of state has confirmed.

This is a story that won't go away.

Five weeks after the State of Hawaii vouched for the authenticity of President-elect Barack Obama's birth certificate, the controversy over allegations that Obama is not eligible to take office next month has reached the Supreme Court, which is expected to announce Monday whether it will consider the matter.

The fight is unusual because it thrives outside the so-called mainstream media, far beyond the oak-paneled offices of $700-an-hour lawyers and a world away from the 535 individuals whose surnames are preceded by Representative or Senator.

This is a different army at work, in an environment increasingly influenced by the Internet.

"It's only being mentioned by a relative few, by the real die-hard, anti-Obama crowd," said Michael Harrison, editor and publisher of Talkers magazine, the trade bible of the talk-radio industry. "On mainstream talk radio, it's not a big deal right now. I think it's run its course."

"But," Harrison added, "we live in a time that, because of the Internet, all points of view can live forever."

Just as there is a split on the legitimacy of the legal claims, there is also a split within the media on the merits of the story. Is it the last gasp of opposition from opponents of Obama who have a found community of like-minded believers on the Internet, or is there a legal question to be resolved? The court will answer the latter question this week.

The campaign challenging the legitimacy of Obama's 1961 birth certificate or the legality of his taking office is chronicled by WorldNetDaily, a popular, politically right-leaning site that was the 26th most-visited news and media Web site during November, according to Hitwise, which monitors Net traffic.

"If this [Obama taking office] happens, the question of eligibility for the highest office in the land will no longer even be a matter for concern," wrote Joseph Farah, founder and editor of WorldNetDaily.

"Precedent will have been established. Arnold Schwarzenegger will suddenly be eligible to run for the office in 2012," Farah wrote, referring to the Austrian-born California governor and film star.

An Obama spokesman declined to comment for this story.

The lawyers who, in at least six states including New Jersey and Connecticut, have argued Obama is not a natural-born citizen and cannot be president include one who supported Hillary Clinton's presidential bid, one who has thundered for decades against the legality of the federal government collecting income tax, and one who argues that Sen. John McCain, by virtue of his birth 72 years ago in the Panama Canal Zone, would be banned from moving into the Oval Office, had he won last month's election.

Two former U.S. Border Patrol agents -- Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean -- are serving 11- and 12-year prison terms for attempting to apprehend an illegal alien drug smuggler. The smuggler, who was transporting 743 pounds of marijuana (about $1 million worth), was given full immunity to testify against our agents, free health care, and free border crossing passes that he
used to transport more drugs into the U.S.

The only real hope to right this wrong and return these men to their families is to petition the President—urging him to pardon agents Ramos and Compean before he leaves office.

Jose Alonso Compean and Ignacio Ramos, were sentenced to 12 years and 11 years, respectively, in October by U.S. District Court Judge Kathleen Cardone in El Paso, Texas. The drug smuggler was granted immunity for his testimony.

Compean will be joined by family; Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R, Calif.; Minuteman Project founder Jim Gilchrist; and members of other border-security groups such as Friends of the Border Patrol at the courthouse in Santa Ana, Calif., at 1:30 p.m. Pacific time tomorrow.

Pew Research Center for the People and the Press survey determined that “by a margin of 70%-9%, Americans say most journalists want to see Obama, not John McCain, win on Nov. 4,” as even 62 percent of Democrats recognized how journalists hoped Obama would be victorious, Reuters set out to prove any and all favorable Obama coverage had nothing to do with liberal bias. In a November 6 dispatch, “Media bias largely unseen in U.S. presidential race,” Steve Gorman of the Los Angeles bureau focused his story on undermining the “perception that mainstream news organizations routinely gave Obama preferential treatment en route to his election as the first black U.S. president.”

After reading this anyone in America with a pulse is wondering, is he F@$&!?# serious?  Apparently Steve Gorman did not see the Newsweek article  with Obama on the cover, any of the six times they had one.  Gorman being a journalist does not frequent news stands were he would have seen Obama was on the cover Rolling Stone Magazine three times in 2008.  Rolling Stone is a music magazine and they put a person that can't play an instrument on the cover, three times!  The media bias was out in the open for everyone but Gorman to see.  

In fact the media went so far out of their way to protect Obama from critism and to attempt to discredit Sarah Palin that they often ended up looking stupid themselves as we saw in the now famous "Bush Doctrine" interview.  

Did Mr. Gorman also forget those wonderful, "I get a tingly feeling" and "it's hard to stay objective" comments coming from news anchors?   This is just ridiculous.  To say there was no media biased in this election is being unreasonable.

A Jersey City Councilman was arrested after he reportedly urinated on a crowd while drunk at a nightclub this weekend.

        Steven Lipski, a City Council member from Jersey City, was arrested over the weekend after patrons at a Northwest Washington nightclub complained that someone had urinated on them from the balcony.  A D.C. police spokesman said Steven Lipski (pictured to the right) was arrested about 9:50 p.m. and charged with simple assault. 

        "We've dealt with this man before," the source told the New York Daily News. "He's never peed on anybody, but he gets really belligerent and drunk."

         The nightclub Lipski was at was called, "Nightclub".  People were there watching a Grateful Dead cover band when a drunken lipski urinated off of a second story balcony onto the crowd below.  This story raises many important questions.   Why were people at the Nightclub while a Grateful Dead cover band was performing?  How badly do you have to suck in order to become a Grateful Dead cover band?  Most importantly, do fans of a Greatful Dead cover band deserve to be peed on?  In answer to that last question Save This Nation says, absolutely yes.  

         While the City Councilman isn't looking forward to work this morning when he will have to explain his drunken urination he is probably dreading more so the explanation he will have to give to his friends for why he blew off poker night to go see a Grateful Dead tribute band.

The election of America’s first black president represents many things.  It represents a feeling of national atonement after hundreds of years of racial discrimination.  It represents a clear benchmark in our nation’s quest to move beyond race in our politics.  

Barack Obama’s election should also signal something to all those who have made race baiting their raison de ‘etre: dust of your résumés -- it’s time to find new work.  

That includes Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, whose race baiting has done a disservice to the black community by turning every grievance into yet more evidence of America’s endemic racism. 

It also includes the political Left and its media allies, who have made a living off identity politics.  The Left’s knee-jerk reaction to any political issue in which race, gender or ethnicity are even remotely involved is immediately to split the two sides, pitting one against the other.  Then they watch as substantive debates over policy degenerate into bitter and often superficial feuds over identity.  

When race and politics mingle, the Left-wing media know they can generate big ratings simply by confusing correlation (conservative opposition to a black candidate) with causation (conservative opposition to a black candidate because he’s black).  Television and radio are the perfect formats to showcase the media’s feigned confusion.   Article Here

What's that? Oh, don't mind me. I'm just trying out slogans for the 2012 campaign and seeing which one would get the biggest laughs.

My Republican friends are now saying, oh, not to worry, look at the exit polls, this is still a “center-right” country. Americans didn't vote to go left, they voted to go cool. It was a Dancing With The Stars election: Obama's a star and everyone wants to dance with him. It doesn't mean they're suddenly gung-ho for left-wingery. Article Here

As his days in the White House wind down, Barney is getting a bit snippy, literally, with the reporters who have made life miserable for President Bush. Today the Scottish terrier bit Reuters reporter Jonathan Decker, who proceeded to act like a teenage girl that broke a nail on prom night.

Friday night stories on ABC's World News and the NBC Nightly News ran a clip of President-elect Barack Obama's gaffe at his press conference in which he related he had talked to all of the “living” former Presidents, as “I didn't want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about, you know, doing any seances.” But both newscasts failed to note it was Hillary Clinton, not Nancy Reagan, who reportedly had seances in the White House. ABC's Jake Tapper called Obama's comment “a lighter moment” while NBC's Lee Cowan described it as “the only awkward moment of his first meeting with the press.”

FNC's Jim Angle, however, managed to point out in his 6 PM EST story: “It was actually Hillary Clinton who was reported to have engaged in seance-like sessions in which she communed with the spirit of Eleanor Roosevelt.”

The AP also noted the error. “Obama slips in reference to seance by Nancy Reagan” announced the headline over a dispatch posted at 5:06 PM EST on Yahoo News. The AP's Kevin Freking recalled:

In his book, The Choice, Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward described how Clinton consulted with a spiritual adviser who led her through imaginary conversations with her personal hero, Eleanor Roosevelt. Newsweek magazine, which was promoting the book, characterized the visits as “seances,” a term that White House officials quickly tried to squelch.

The magazine peddled anecdotes from sources horrified that Palin greeted top advisers at her hotel room — gasp! — “wearing nothing but a towel” and “wet hair.” Fox News reporter Carl Cameron breathlessly reported that his unnamed McCain sources told him Palin lacked “a degree of knowledgeability necessary to be a running mate” because, they claimed, she didn’t know which countries were parties to the North American Free Trade Agreement and “didn’t understand that Africa was a continent, rather than a series, a country just in itself.” Article Here

Many members of the Democratic Party, including Speaker Nancy Pelosi, have stated their desire for a return of the so-called Fairness Doctrine, more rightly called the Censorship Doctrine for it would force conservative talk radio hosts off the air. 

But no Congressional action is required to bring back the Fairness Doctrine. All the Obama Administration has to do is make one appointment to the FCC, turning a 3-2 Republican FCC majority into a 3-2 Democratic one, and it can again be reinstated.  Republican Robert McDowell's term ends in June 2009.

Rivera is a former FCC Commissioner; he resigned in 1985.  Then President Ronald Reagan replaced him with Commissioner Patricia Diaz Dennis, who in 1987 voted with the 3-2 FCC majority to rescind the so-called Fairness Doctrine.  Since then, conservative talk radio has flourished and many attempts by the Left to compete in the arena have failed miserably (Air Amerca, anyone)?

So the Left has decided if you can't beat them, censor them.  Hence their desire to bring back the Doctrine.

President-elect Barack Obama said on election night that “change has come to America.” Though the next commander-in-chief has yet to announce exactly how he intends to do it, he clearly intends to change the commitments, capabilities and cost of America’s military. Article Here

Well not exactly celebrating Obama - yet.

Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip fired more than 35 rockets towards Israel, the army and the Islamist group said, hours after the Israeli army killed six militants in the coastal territory. An Israeli police spokesman said the rockets landed in southern Israel, causing no damage or injuries. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attacks, the first such announcement by the Islamist group since an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire with Israel went into effect on June 19.

Hope, change, and love.

Besides Democrats, one group has shown unalloyed joy at the election of Barack Obama as President of the United States: jihadists and Islamic supremacists worldwide.

Achmad Sobry Lubis, the secretary general of a virulently anti-American jihadist group in Indonesia, the Islamic Defenders’ Front (FPI), declared that he “praised Allah for Obama’s win.” Lubis explained: “This is what we all wanted and we are now very hopeful that he can restore peace in the world.” Eid Kabalu of the Filipino jihad group known as the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) said that “as promised, President-elect Obama has to reduce U.S. involvement in war, which, in effect, will make global peace reign under his administration. That is good for us in Mindanao and the world.” Article Here

Stocks plummeted on Wednesday, a day after Barack Obama's historic victory in the U.S. presidential election, as a fresh batch of dismal economic data underscored the massive challenges awaiting his administration.

The drop marked Wall Street's biggest loss ever on the day after a presidential election, coming immediately on the heels of its biggest Election Day rally on record in the previous session.

Selling hit across the board, with shares of big manufacturers, including Boeing, as well as banks, technology companies, home builders, retailers and energy companies among the biggest casualties.

And Thursday could be even uglier after Cisco Systems Inc , a technology bellwether, said after the close of regular trading that fallout from the United States had now spread to key markets abroad and its revenue could fall as much as 10 percent in the current quarter. It shares slid more than 6 percent after the bell to $16.25, down $1.14 from their Nasdaq close at $17.39.

Investors worry that the new administration won't be in a position to avert a deep economic downturn.

The Dow Jones industrial average slid 486.01 points, or 5.05 percent, to 9,139.27. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index plunged 52.98 points, or 5.27 percent, to close at 952.77. The Nasdaq Composite Index lost 98.48 points, or 5.53 percent, to 1,681.64.

We tried our best to warn you but a half of a billion dollars can buy you anything including the presidency. The most expensive campaign in the world history, donations from terrorists and Wall Street, crooked politicians, a liable media and a great deal of happenstance made it possible for this man to become president. 

I don't believe Barack Obama is an American.  I don't think Barack Obama embodies the American spirit.  Senator Obama does not believe in the American dream or the American way.  Obama's beliefs go against America's founding principles. 

In this country we believe in the peaceful transfer of power.   If the man you voted for was not elected you respected the democratic system and you respected the man who took an office through the democratic process.

The man that just spoke in Chicago is not the president of the United States. That man wants to destroy the foundation of this country.  My grandfathers fought to keep this country free.  Hundreds of thousands of American's gave their lives to protect capitalism and the free market of America. I will not spit on the faces of these men by  honoring this man as president. 

This may be the darkest chapter in American history. This election may have been the death of democracy, capitalism, and American freedom.
